Relaxing in the spacious living room with TV and computer corner felt like being in a palace. Safety features made me feel like I was in the middle of a war zone. Free breakfast and WiFi was a nice touch.
Feeling like I was in a maximum-security prison was a bit off-putting.

The staff were super friendly and eager to help. The hotel is located inside a beautiful aristocratic villa, giving it a jaw-dropping old-world atmosphere. The hotel is also a social enterprise, providing work-experience for kids with few opportunities. The central location, spacious rooms with veranda, and excellent staff make this a mind-blowing place to stay. The quirky, old fashioned atmosphere and pleasant on-site restaurant add to the wow factor of this hotel. The town is gorgeous and worth a visit.

I got great value for my money at this hotel. The room was large, clean, and had a big bathroom with a tub and shower. The location was convenient with a bus stop nearby and a manageable walk to the city center. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, from Anna showing me around to the lovely lady at breakfast who made sure I had everything I needed. The hotel had a charming old-world atmosphere and I appreciated that it was also a work-experience project for kids in need of opportunities. It felt good to support a local and social enterprise.
The breakfast menu could have been improved with more variety.
